I am a freelance photographer with eight years of professional experience. My focus is on live performances and event coverage mainly using beautiful, natural lighting.
I'm based in Brooklyn, where I live with my wife Ellen, and I'm a native New Yorker, though I keep my accent tucked in. I've been a house photographer at Brooklyn Academy of Music since 2012 and have been a staff photographer for Bowery Presents for longer. I shoot Nikon, love fishing and running, and I play piano and guitar. My music photography has been featured in Metro Papers (NY-Phil.-Boston), the New York Times, Village Voice and the Huffington Post, and on a number of music sites including Brooklyn Vegan and The House List.
My photographs are also included in the Museum of the City of New York’s permanent collection.
I am exactly 35 years old.
